After a frustrating break due to long covid, I’m please to be back writing and working on my second book about an autistic boy’s experience of a world inhabited and designed mainly for and by neurotypicals.

I am excited to share, that I have signed up to support the NAS, National Autistic Society, through Work For Good.  They will benefit from the proceeds of 100% of book royalties from my first novel ‘The Most Terrifying Thing’ about an autistic psychologist, and my second book with the working title of ‘Ollie and the Octopus’. This is my chance to support a wonderful charity which helps so many people and has the knock-on effect of helping the larger world.

If you want a unique and intriguing read and you want to support the NAS to change attitudes and transform lives, please take a look at my first novel ‘The Most Terrifying Thing…’ ( a partial quote from Carl Jung) which you can find on Amazon under my literary alias, R. E. Beevor (link at end of post).

The full quote is “The Most Terrifying Thing is to Accept Yourself Completely”.

Why am I supporting the NAS?  Autistic people and their families are at the heart of everything they do. They are forward thinking with their ambitious 'Vision to Reality' strategy for the future. Over the coming years they will focus on building a society that values autistic people, maximises autistic power, guarantees support, adapts public spaces and services and is free from discrimination.

With your support, we’ll make this vision a reality and create a society that works for autistic people.
